Once again this year, MEDICA took place in Düsseldorf from 14 to 17 November under the motto “Medical Technology and Research”. With over 5,000 exhibitors from the medical technology sector and more than 80,000 visitors, the trade fair is the largest of its kind in the world. The Moers-based medical technology start-up Medipee presented the toilet of tomorrow in the state capital.

After the digital edition two years ago and the first face-to-face appearance in 2021, this was now the third Medica for the Medipee team. As in the previous year, the Moers-based startup could be found at the booth of the NRW Ministry of Economic Affairs. Medipee was one of the few co-exhibitors to present its innovative platform technology for non-contact and automatic urinalysis.

The revolutionary device was presented together with the Uroli app, the first use case of Medipee. Uroli supports patients with urinary and kidney stones in metaphylaxis and prevention of new stone events. In addition to urolithiasis, the Medipee booth focused on chronic kidney disease, urinary tract infections and other relevant applications in the field of urinalysis.

“Medica is the central trade fair for us when it comes to networking with interesting contacts from all over the world. We were very pleased about the visit of international delegations and visitors as well as the visit of Minister Ina Brandes!” says Noel Schäfer, Marketing Manager at Medipee GmbH.
