Medipee GmbH is awarded the contract for the “Renali” project by ZukunftBIO.NRW. Renali is a research project that deals with an automated urine self-monitoring system for chronic kidney diseases. Thus, the project builds on Medipee’s business idea of “the digitalization and automation of urinalysis within one’s own toilet”.
The Ministry of Economic Affairs and Climate Change of the State of North Rhine-Westphalia is providing a funding volume of around 8.8 million euros for a total of eleven projects. With ZukunftBIO.NRW, the state of North Rhine-Westphalia promotes products in the final development steps before market entry. The focus is on infectiology, future medicine and bio-based industry.
The Renali project falls under future medicine. The project started on April 24. Medipee is pleased to be a part of these funded projects and is confident that at the end of the project there will be a result that will change future medicine.
