There is reason to celebrate! The Medipee is six years old. In 2017, the three founders decided to revolutionize urinalysis. Six years later, the now 20-strong team can look back on a number of successes.
After intensive research and development, the device is CE certified and approved as a medical device. Since 2022, we have therefore already been able to help the first patients with the Uroli product as part of a pilot study. It can be assumed that Uroli will be available to all patients with urinary and kidney stones by the end of the year. Since Uroli is planned as a digital health application (DiGA), the certification in terms of data protection according to ISO 27001 in 2022 has also been a major milestone. This confirms to customers that their data will be handled confidentially. Mikta, the first product of the Medipee, is already available to all users in the App and Play Store.
Over the years we have made great new acquaintances, to whom we would like to thank very much. We were able to make interesting contacts at trade fairs such as the DGU or Medica. Medipee is also becoming more and more present in the media. In addition to exciting newspaper articles and informative podcast appearances, Medipee has made it to television in the last year. RTL and ntv reported on our startup.
Another highlight in the history of our young medical technology start-up is the opening of the Medipee Lab in the city centre of Moers. In addition to our location on the Eurotec-Ring, you are now also welcome to visit us at any time in the heart of Moers’ city center on Pfefferstraße.
