Today there was cake for breakfast – for good reason! Medipee celebrates its fifth birthday. On 15 February 2017, it was founded at the notary’s office. Back then, when it came to triggering the Medipee system, people still asked us: “Who takes their mobile phone to the toilet?” – today we know that we were and still are on the right track. From year to year, the relevance and interest in eHealth, smart health and medical devices is increasing.
With Medipee and our device for automatic and contactless urinalysis, we have created a platform technology in recent years that supports the user in various situations. Relevant health data helps to keep an eye on personal health status and thanks to intelligent artificial intelligence (AI) and self-learning algorithms (machine learning), the associated app acts as a virtual consultant or “doctor from your pocket”.
We are very grateful for the support that our young company has received in many ways in recent years. Thanks to everyone who shares this vision with us!
A lot has happened in the last five years: 13 employees – an extremely heterogeneous and diverse team – are now developing the patent-protected system in Moers on the Lower Rhine. We are looking forward to the next five years and are very excited about all that lies ahead.
